One of the first things that you notice about Joanne when you look at her are her big, beautiful eyes. ”Doe eyes” as Travis calls them. And those eyes are exactly what attracted him to her.
They met just before college graduation and started dating shortly after. He was the first guy that ever made her speechless. There was just something different about him that made her think that he was unlike any man she had ever met before. And she was right – he was not just some guy – he was the guy.
Both being big football fans (for opposing teams) it was only natural that Travis decided to propose during a Sunday night football game. The ring was in a bowl of popcorn and he thought the ring would sit nicely on top and she would see it right away. However, it quickly slipped down to the bottom and he was forced to wait until she ate the very last kernal before finding it. The wait proved to be worth it, as the girl of his dreams told him “yes”.
Joanne and Travis were married on a beautiful fall day in September. Despite rain the days before, their wedding day was warm and sunny with a gorgeous blue sky. The weather was a perfect fit to Joanne’s spunky, joyful and fun personality.

While waiting for the service to begin, Travis stood outside with each of their mother’s on his arms. This photograph shows how supportive both families are of this marriage and how much they love their children. The overall feeling of the day was one of love, support and healthy relationships and it was beautiful.

In front of hundreds of friends and family, Travis and Joanne committed their lives to one another. During the exchange of vows, it was apparent just how much Travis loves his wife. It was beyond touching and I captured these special moments with tears rolling down my checks just like everyone else.

Joanne and Travis,
Thank you for entrusting us with capturing the moments of your wedding day. For inviting us into your family and allowing us to become your friends. We wish you the best and pray that your love grows even deeper with time.
All our best,
Tera and Steve
